January 2025 - NZ Whisky Tasting
Hosted at Scottish restaurant The Haven in Jamaica Plain). We were delighted to welcome speakers Will Taylor (NZ Hon. Consul General) and Kiwi CEO Colin South (ArkeaBio) for a fireside chat about New Zealand’s place in the world, Colins extensive international business career, his participation at Davos Climate Conference, and a wide range of audience questions.
Participants enjoyed 5 Whisky’s, including NZ’s own Pokeno, and snacked on Scottish treats such as deep-fried mars bars, scotch eggs and other goodies.
April 2025 - ANZAC Day
We gathered again at The Church of The Advent, Brimmer Street on the flat of Beacon Hill, Boston for a moving service and reception. Afterwards, guests brought a plate of their favourite Kiwi/Aussie treat to share which created a fantastic Kiwi themed reception.
We are grateful for those who volunteered time to help run the program, and to those who supported by funding the Pies and Sausage Rolls, our fabulous Soloist and Bugler.
July 2025 - British & Irish Lions Rugby
In July we partnered with the Charitable Irish Society to watch the British and Irish Lions play the All Blacks while on tour in Australia.
Really fun to have a combined event for a rousing game. Congrats to the Lions who played a super game.
August 2025 - NZ Ice Cream Social
What’s better than a hot day and a tasty cold ice-cream treat?
Great fun for the families who attended, especially the enjoyment of Hokey Pokey ice cream freshly made onsite! Terrific to see some new faces, a few Aussies! and the NE Kiwis Board out and about.

October 2025 - Lunch with Jenny Rudd, (Kiwi) CEO, Dispute Buddy
A real honour to host Jenny Rudd, CEO of Dispute Buddy, for lunch in Cambridge during her visit to New England. Here to speak at a venture capital conference, Jenny shared stories of her journey through entrepreneurship, spoke about the benefits and challenges of fund raising as a woman, and inspired us with her vision and passion for providing service to those in need of support.

A full house of 45 turnout for our final program of the year, hosted at The Black Moor Bar & Kitchen in Charlestown MA.

Kiwis in Academia Welcome Reception
2023 Launch
The NE Kiwis group launch and inaugural event was a Rugby World Cup Watch event held in Cambridge, Massachusetts at The Engine @ MIT.
More than 150+ turned out to watch the ABs lose to South Africa in the World Cup Final after a rousing game befitting a World Final sports engagement.
Kiwis from around New England gathered to share favourite treats from home and share in the excitement and agony of a close World Cup Final.

NE Kiwis Freejacks Day
Join The NE Kiwis Group as we enjoy a day of Free Jacks Rugby on June 16th as they take on the Utah Warriors (Fathers Day Theme). 3pm kickoff.
